DIMMI
The Project

Our goal is simple: to create a more inclusive, open world where language is learned through curiosity and culture.

We prioritize connection over a perfectly fluent interaction even if they are awkward, hybridized, or complemented by charades (we’ve all been there).

We focus on the underserved ‘right-brain’ of language learning and lead with creativity and inspiration over mechanics and transaction.

We’re here to inspire moments of connection through everyday experiences and creative insights by exploring daily life through the lens of language.

The Dimmi Project is just that—a project. Our story grows with you. We’re here to create an environment that enables creativity, connection, and learning in order to bring languages into your daily life. While we’re not here to teach you perfect syntax or proper grammar, we will keep you inspired and engaged. We’re your accountability partner, your biggest cheerleader, and your ultimate language learning companion.

We're committed to changing the narrative of what it means to be 'fluent' in a language, by moving away from proficiency standards and toward a deeper understanding and connection to people, places, and cultures. We're committed to making language learners more resilient so that mistakes won't slow them down and are simply opportunities for growth. Ultimately, we’re committed to helping language learners persevere so that more meaningful multilingual conversations are had.
